It works like this ...
gear
Once you have the parameters of your building and know the application of your new crane, then it's easy.
We supply the crane hoist, components, and manufacturing drawings in the form of a kitset. You then fabricate the beam to the supplied design.
Then simply assemble the crane.
This crane hoist, kitset design and build option, gives you the control to meet your budget and timeframe. The transport costs savings alone can be substantial.
Please note - the hoist (grey) and crane kitset (yellow) are supplied

Spoilt for choice -
the ZX series hoists
The ZX series hoists are specifically designed to meet the requirements for precision lifting and moving.

The innovative ZX design is the result of a rigorous analysis of customers future expectations. Together with the application of the most advanced crane technology, and incorporating 70 years experience in crane manufacturing. This provides a new level of performance and productivity. This hoist is designed to meet the needs of industry well into the future, providing an excellent solution in terms of the price / performance ratio.

Excellent quality and outstanding safety in design are the hallmarks of Street Crane products. ZX hoists incorporate a series of significant safety features. The level of safety on standard models is such that a number of basic components (the failure of which on competitor hoists could be catastrophic) fail to safe on the ZX. For example, the hoist brake operates on the second hoist reduction shaft, giving fail to safe on components in the motor and first reduction line. The hoist motor can even be completely removed without releasing the load.

All components are manufactured to the highest quality standards in a modern purpose built plant using advanced production methods.

What is the intended application
To determine hoist rating for your application what industry best categorises your usage requirements?
For example - Steel merchant, structural steel, heavy fabrication, concrete construction, glass handling, general warehousing, truck or tractor maintainance etc

Tonnage / lifting capacity
This is the maximum tonnage requirement for the crane.

Span or rail to rail dimension (width of the crane)
This is the distance that the crane beam will be spanning. Usually this would be the maximum distance between two parallel walls within a commercial environment.

Vertical height of lift
This is the vertical height that the hook travels through. The measurement can be taken from the lowest expected point (could be bottom of a pit) to the hoist. This allows for wire capacity and drum space.

Travel distance
This is the total length of travel that the full crane moves through along its horizontal axis.
